publish it, etc.

stay long on a Website that looks like it was the first site designed
by your sixth grade nephew, especially if you want your site to come
across like it represents a business capable of providing the
quality products and/or services your potential customers are expecting.

easy to navigate. The best way to lose a visitor is to
frustrate them with navigating through your Website. Visitors should
never get lost.

They should know exactly
where they are, how they got there, and more important, how to get
to where they want to go next.

If they are looking for
something specific they should be able to find it in just a few
clicks once they've arrived on your Website.

They should never have to
hit the "Back" button numerous times to return to a previous page
they've viewed.

If visitors to your site
click on links you've provided to other Websites, they should always
be returned to yours when they are done. Your site should not
be closed when they close the other Website.

content that will attract visitors and will keep bringing them back. It is
